sorry same problem as above Michtoen, when i start client bat, it pauses in msdos screen, same when i click server or editor bat file ..........i really dont why , but as all know i am not pc man.

Uh, i just don't bother with the .bat file cause it does freeze my system, but i go and find the .exe that i want, and that seems to work well... try that out.

hmmm when i start the server it opens and then automaticly closes again and he wrights nothing i cant do i new server with this but i want  i need a good 0.967 server exe that is start! a good no bug one |

With no -server option, and the introduction of/and phasing out of lua, python (respectively); there is no purpose for a 0.967 server! The only useful server is the beta 4 Server included in this package. It is the only one that will run the new maps made by the Beta 4 Editor. Thus, if you are having issues with the Beta 4 Server, please be more specific, and as i stated before try runing the .EXE files, and Not the .bat files! (I find none of the .bat file work for me, but all of the .EXE do. Also; if the server starts up, it won't write much to the promt till you log on with your client!!!)

i installed this package onto my laptop, and the Talk command is not working. I tried moveing the keys file from zip replaceing the other to see if I had accidentally overwritten a key. But it simply does not work. nor does "hello" or "Hi" haveing the quest gui for mouseclicks is nice except for us laptop user's with no mouse. uhh Help please?

must be a problem with your copied files.
The talk command is working fine as the plugin too...
I recommend you move the whole 34mb zip to your laptop and unzip it there.
Then copy only the maps from one to another.

Ok, here's a little note: I was asked about mouse movement in B4. The answer I got was B4 has no mouse movement, so it's not a bug that your mouse doesn't work in B4.

fizban the apartments are not working ATM if you are stuck ingame of the testserver type "/stuck" and hit enter to be saved from eternal boredom  Edit : yes DM , is working and the mapmakers that have been added to the Tourtoise SVN have been given the GM mode for the purpose of the new GM command "restart" which will cause the server to shut down after 30 sec's and reload the comitted files in the repository folders. |

Umm... I can't seem to get to the test server now. It says my Beta4 (prerelease) is outdated, but you don't seem to have another newer download then the one I used. (The last link MT posted.)

I just logged on to test server with no problem. Make sure you are loading the correct client, i must have at least 5 versions on my comp. should have a file called VERSION_B4_PR2_build_03 in the directory where w32_start_client.bat is. there is a newer thread than this one with links to the files http://www.daimonin.net/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=2522 |
