Greetings

This Competition commences as of post date and is for the best New Daimonin Story submitted as deemed by the Creative Writers Guild. Final say for best entry may be given by an invited Dev.

The only rules are that it is to be Daimonin related. The theme and characters involved are all upto your own creative efforts. It could be a story about the Eye Master from the lost Lom lobon tribe, it could be a detailed war about the initial Elder Races. Or it could even be a short story on the origins of a special drop.
A story about a new race perhaps or a new evil deity from the Demon Plane? If still lost for ideas, think of the mobs and dungeons, maybe inspiration can be found from the existing planes.

The prizes: B4 Cmote Armour, STR+4 bracers, POW+4 bracers, Icesteels leggins new(HP+40)., Ring of Greater Fire and more.

We haven't yet discussed about the time frame. But its not going to be next week, or the week after.

The deadline there says "20th May, 2008" But it might have to be 2 weeks™ if no one submits on time.

do u mean expand on story or make your own dif one completely or merge parts of story?

yeah it is

Xal lumbered through the forests, crashing through the thick oak boes with ease, his eyes trained on the ground before him in the myraid of small footprints. Only one eluded him, that of a three pointed star, the hoof of the elusive albino ram that pranced carelessly through the forests reach.

Above the birds sang, their gentle song only interrupted by the smashing and groaning of the trees above as they fell to the ground with soft 'thuds' as Xal smote them unintentionally.

The forest gave way to a soft thicket and a small pool, its sapphire waters gently lapping against the short reeds in the wind as Xal broke through, a final crash signalling the final destruction of the forest behind him.

He was short for a giant, a mere 8 feet tall, his skin a mottle gray brown and warts only covered half of his arms. The club he held was cracked slightly from the hilt to the tip but neverthe-less, it was covered with the dried blood of many creatures he had slain in the name of food previously.

The buck turned towards him, its massive rack held high in defiance, its pristine white coat shining in the morning dew as its legs stamped the soft mossy leaves beneath it. Slowly it bent its neck down in defiance to Xal as it drew a great drink from the pond.

Xal, confused at the sudden depravity of the situation did what any giant would do, he dropped his massive club for the massive bow on his back and drew a raven fletched arrow from the quiver by his side.

His arm tensed with the strain of holding the bowstring back as the birds in the glade screamed in agony. The buck sensing this turned and fled through the pond, erasing all tracks as it pranced into the thicket beyond and Xal slumped.

"Me no good hunter," he talked to himself. "Me let food gets away, maybe next time Xal smash food for hungry camp!"

With a dejceted sigh he turned and lumbered through the forest, his heavy feet leaving footprints in the soft bed of needles and pines, easily enough for any to follow.

The boughs of the trees seeming to bend out of his way, unwilling to take the onslaught futher from which he had already created in his wake he paid little heed to what was before him as he lumbered back to the camp.

Amidst the trees, in the boughs of an ancient oak an elf watched as he eased the tension on his bow string.

"None shall touch the great elk while I watch," he muttered, leaping from branch to branch, following Xal, leaving nothing in his path execpt the gentle chirping of the songbirds before him.

I like your style , that should be the standard.

I splitted the stories, they are still as entries of the competition.

Don't post your stories here, this thread will be used to discuss about the competition. Whereas the stories' threads will be used to discuss about the story.

And with that, all stories are listed above in the topic post. There are some, plans, which we will need this thread to be kept as crystalline as possible.

Please read through a thread and follow directions it gives before posting to it

As you all should know, there is more or less, only five days remaining till chow time! The current list of stories is basically all the registered entries in so far. Please, if you have a story that I have not listed in the entries, please PM me or post here or whatever. Make sure to bring those stories in!

Secondly, make sure you correct all your spelling/grammar mistakes and so on. We haven't much time left. . Critical repetittion of errors will definitely put some points against you.
