how would i make that door "unlocked"?? thanks.

Although it says it's a Locked Door, it's unlocked until you put a key string in the attributes. A better name would be "Lockable Door"

oi thanks lol
also, I have another question, It's about mobs... when I add a mob, for the spawn_point I add the spawn point to the mob's inventory and then the key to the spawn_point? and then when I kill the mob it has a chance to drop the special key?
because ive been adding the spawn_point's to the mob's inventory, and I just wan't to make sure im doing it correctly Smiley

Spawn point goes on map. Add the mob to the spawn point's inventory.

If you add an object (the key) to the mob's inventory, that object will always drop when the mob is killed. To make it only happen sometimes, add a rand_drop container (in special) to the mob's inventory and then add the key to the rand_drop's inventory.

thanks smacky Smiley now i have to change alot of mobs Cheesy, give me something to do for the next hour or so...
edit: well, i reset all my monsters, and now there all in the spawn point's inventory, and I set the one monster with the rand drop (special) in it's inv and the key in the rand drop inv but I can't seem to make the monster drop the key, or anything else, and it doesn't drop a corpse, so I wen't into the monster's properties to look for the little box that sais corpse and check it, but I could not find one.. ( my monster is a spawn point mob ) so... how would I make it drop a corpse? incase what I said above is not clear this is what I did... I put the spawn_point on the map, put the mob ( beholder dread ) in the spawn_point's inv put the rand drop from special in the mob's inv and then put the special key in the rand drop's inv

Thats fine - mobs always create corpses (assuming you are not too high level when you kill it).  Did you set the 'random drop chance'?  Look in the properties of the rand-drop item.  When testing, I normally set this to 1-in-1 or 1-in-2, so the key drops almost every time.  Then once I'm happy that everything is working I change the drop chance up to something reasonable.

That's the most likely thing I think (I've made the same mistake and puzzled over it for hours Wink). Is the mob grey to you?

There is a corpse flag in the Special tab (of the attributes window) but this is set by default in all mob arches AFAIR so it's unlikely this is the problem, but worth checking.
