how do i win more agility points?

i am trowing knives to win agility points, but is there any other way than trowing objects? i am doing crossbow too, but it seems that is giving me only crossbow skills points.

Yeah this is how it works:

Training a particular skill (ATM anyway that means hurting a mob with it) gets you exp points in that skill once the mob has been killed. (There are more complexities -- for example, how is the exp shared between multiple skills -- but those can be ignored for this illustration.)

Each skill belongs to one of the 7 or 8 skillgroups, such as Agility or Physical/Physique.

Your level in a skillgroup is simply your highest level in a skill belonging to that group. Your main level is simply your highest level skillgroup.

So say you are level 2 in throwing and level 10 in archery. You will also be level 10 in Agility and, assuming those are your only skills, level 10 main as well. Training throwing will increase your throwing skill exp/level, but will not increase Agility or main. Until you get it above level 10. Now Agility and main will level according to throwing, and archery will be the secondary one.
