wow, I have to say, not bad at all, its pretty good, the rings especially look awesome.

These are very good graphics . Because of their quality, i must ask... did you make these or did you get them or alter them from another game? If so, please save me the trouble of doing rigorous searches only to find that you have ripped them off and tell me right here. (you must get them by me or a fellow developer for them to get in the game)

PS: i already recognize that potion, the rings were made by a professional (i'm not saying you aren't), the battle axe was simply cropped badly (who'd do such a thing to their work?!), and the rings use a certain anti-aliasing while the greaves do not. All of this leads me to say that i think you ripped at least some of these off from somewhere.

It all is from is from FFXI (as except for the potion and blue-ish sword, which i have not identified yet)

better yet, don't pass someone else's work off as your own.  I like your maps, and your willingness to work/help, but don't pass someone's work off as your own (or ask us to use copyrighted material)

True, I never said I created these. I should of put a link to the location I founded. I will after I'm done posting this. Also I will post the sprites I found.

I can see it seems Daimonin actually invades some copyright codes. I'll post you the sprite layouts I found having some of the same Monsters, and items. I'm not trying to put you in the spot or anything, but if you look into those sprites I can see couple that where used to help create this game.


Also he is right. Do not try to take other people’s creations and try to make them your-own.

Daimonin has rights to use images from Dink, Crossfire, and any open source game, including NetHack (provided those images are from the open source repository without some restricting artistic license tied to them).

We're not exactly enthralled saying we use graphics from other games, but we do it legally, and there are people actively making variants for Daimonin, with full ranges of moment, to replace the old graphics.

Good, sorry if I cam off like a jack***. Also sorry for not placing the location of where I found the sprites. The Blue Sword was actualy someting creative.

Zachary: Which of your sprites are from an open source project? (other than the blue sword )
