Calendar? Is this for automated posting at a certain time or some other plug-in?

TPK hijacked a feature I was enabling. There's a calendar button at the top of forum pages now.

Not as such. The idea is for the mapmasters (the main server mappers) to post about events there.

Na - its not working for me.  I can change it to April ... that can't be right as that's more than 2 weeks (tm) away ... :lol:

But yes. In fact you can go as far forward as December 2058 (apparently there will be only one day that month -- it's a Thursday). But only events starting in the next 7 days are posted on the forum index (ie, click home). So you can easily see what is coming up.

He he ... I meant ... what is the point of having a calendar that goes more than 2 weeks into the future ... after all, everything in Daimonin happens in 2 weeks!

Because i had some battles with the postnuke devs in the past that
they don't saw that a real calendar is a needed and wanted feature...

But anyway, torchwood is not really wrong: Really useful is a event system
only at one point - at best when we have at the front page a calendar like
thingy showing comiing events of the next week/month and connected that
to a announcement or news part.

I always wondered there was no module for that but for some reasons most
cms have trouble with that kind of integration.
