official daimonin client 0.9.7 debian (ubuntu) packageMay 27, 2007 - 10:33 PM - package updated, should now work no problem
(if it worked for you no problem, then no need to download the updated package...)
download (22MB)
EDIT by Alderan:
i removed the link to the deb file, because it is outdated, just get the source package from the Download page, and build it.
This is debian package, for official daimonin client.
Should work on all debian systems (debian, any ubuntu, mint, mepis...),
on architectures i386 (and higher). Built on Debian Etch stable i386.
installation1. Download the package from link above.
2. Install gdebi (if you have it installed already the command would tell you and do nothing)
sudo apt-get install gdebi
3. Install the package using gdebi. Usually double click from your file manager would do, if not, for console installation run:
sudo gdebi daimonin-client_0.9.7_i386.deb
for graphical installation run:
sudo gdebi-gtk daimonin-client_0.9.7_i386.deb
than just type "daimonin" in console and the client would start.
Uninstallationsudo dpkg -r daimonin-client
Should work (but I havent tried it...)
If anything goes wrong, or could be improved, post here.
