Heya Smacky,

my char has been banned, as u know, i guess. It has been very kind of Longir to talk to me before he kicked me and also hearing me. but, uhum, as i am not the youngest anymore, i forgot day and time of the banning, only remember it was for a week. Do i get a message when it is over, too, or do i have to try constantly? Sorry to molest u, but that'd be a nice service Cheesy (Of course u could argue, that is part of the punishment - if so, I'll shut up hehe)!

Nobbit

P.S.: Btw: is a week 7 or 8 days?

P.P.S.: Save ur rings and cursed stuff all, brb

Sorry, I'm not familiar with this. I've found a writeup for what you did, but nothing about you being penalised,, so IDK. But yes, a week should mean a week, a month a month, five minutes five minutes, etc. And a week is seven days.

tyvm, longir!

@Smacky what about the Beatles song "8 days a week"? i don't want to get the ban extended, but it's not sooo easy to understand for an non-native speaker, who learnt half of his english from songs Cheesy

That's wordplay. Everyone -- well, nearly everyone Wink -- knows there are seven days in a week, so by exaggerating, saying eight, they're making the point that it was (seemed) a long week or they worked extra hard that week (ie, they did eight days worth of work in a seven day period) or something along those lines.

And don't forget there are 14 days in a fortnight.

Someone suggested a new unit of time once - the microfortnight, which is a little over 1.2 seconds. Smiley
