Before I know how to log on to the main server I created  a character on the test server with level 13. After I learned how to log on to the main server I created a character with the same name and password and level 4. I was recently told that my test server character will be overwriten when the server is updated. Is this true and if so is there anyway to save my test server character. Also, can one play indefinitely on the test server.

From time to time player files are copied from main server to test server (but never from test to main).  It is possible that when MT does the copy he can preserve your test server char.  We do not know when MT will do the next copy.  Other than the possibility that your test server char may be overwritten by your main server char, yes you may choose to play on the test server.  Once the test server is upgraded to the next version number, you will need to get the new client version from the svn repository and compile it.

Hrm, it's been over a year since char files were copied from main to test server, which means, of course, that MT will copy them in two weeks. :p

Um..  I did the same thing basically.  (haven't created a char on the real server yet though!)
Would be extremely gratefull if my character (Aemo) could be moved from the testserver to the real one.

What are the chances of this happening?  :S

there is 0% chance to get your test server character to the real server and so it will never happen

Aw...   to bad.  All that glorious money..  oh well.

this will NEVER happen, this would give you a huge advantage, not only is it very easy to get loads of money on the test server, they have a shop in the test server that sells donation items, no such thing exists in the main server, the only way you might get this too happen would be too drop all your existing items on your test server character, this would give you no advanatage =).

Y would u want it, even at 13 level u still would miss out on what the main has to offer in experience.At lower Levels the quest r somewhat different and the terrain is challenging nothings just handed to your mind ( like in where rosies is or where to get the quest for spider+1 shield ego item 1 drop) Omag just make U a new Omag And battle through the challenge of the life On Daimonin .
