Seeing as how my gallery got deleted again, and I am banned from the #daimonin irc channel not being able to talk to the devs about this, I figured this would be the best place to put this. This is the overworld of a land called warlund, all mapped by yours truly. I hope that Unislash still doesn't think I'm fibbing about making tons of maps, because I have. BTW each square is a finished 24x24 map, and these are only about half of my total maps..

But: Do you want be a map wizard and commit this map
set to daimonin? Last time i asked you the answer was no.
As i understand this is the map set for the warlund fork, right?
Anyway - would be great if you change your mind. You are
very welcome.
If you want your map wizard place with upload space and test
server access - no problem. Zip the set and send it then
to
maps@daimonin.net
.
About the gallery - as you remember you deleted all content
from it some time ago. I just disabled the unused gallery.

yeah well (insert naughty words) dagott, this is only a small piece of my maps folder, and seeing as how i need to prove things after i say anything in this community, ill get working on the rest...

It was intended for Warlund, but thats been postponed what... 4, lol 5 months now? Its going to be for Warlund but if that for some reason fails to launch (the feeling in my gut slowly grows...) then I'll donate it to Daimonin of course, so don't worry it may be implemented here yet. 0.o

I never really doubted that you made lots of maps. It's the quality of them that i doubt/ed
. I'm sure they are good though, i mean, if someone is willing to make such a huge amount of them... they shouldn't be bad ones. But yea, gj ratix. Pretty soon i'll put up something similar to what ratix and sammy has done (thanks to sammy for the tip, both ratix and i are more or less using your idea).

I just updated the last image I posted - I added the 3rd and final connected (as of now) area. You can see that the first image I posted of the grid graph thing with the names matches up with the big image of the actual world. So....... Still don't believe me Dagott? And Uni about the quality of the maps or whatever, you can play on the maps when they're release and see for yourself...

Oh yeah theres probably 50-100 maps of basements, caves, dungeons, etc... I suppose I could explain a bit more of what we're looking at, some of it.
The whitish area on the ground to the far left- thats a town, Teragate. Its pretty much a military refuge camp turned into a marketcity. Its got one large floor unlike most towns but theres rooms/buildings all over, its hard to explain but if you see it when you're actually there you'll see what I mean. Theres also "tame" monsters in this town, ones looking to sell and trade products. Hey all races need economy. The guild in this town is the Archers Guild...
If you look down to the south part theres a swamp, just above that is a small town (on the left side of the river...) Thats Jindoh Village, the small town where you start out at. The guild is called the "Guardsmen Guild" (Longir thought up the name) Not much else to say here...
Now look all the way to the right... theres a bunch of buildings kind of spread out, thats actually all one town - Montibow Colony. A town thats still being built from the large stock of wood, its even got its own "Builder Guild". Also the southernmost part of the town is a ranch/horsetrack.
Thats all for the towns, I can't really explain the wilderness much... the upper-right half of the map with the browner trees is Mantaru Forest, the two large darker lakes at the top-left is Yrbu Rivermouth, the darker ground at the bottom-left seemingly leading nowhere will eventually lead to Skark Wastelands and the dirty port town Skarkogla. I have most of it done I just need some more wastelands to connect to this area.

Ok I finished the Skark Wasteland/Skarkogla piece and updated the last picture. Skarkogla is, obviously, all those buildings on the water. Theres 2 main pieces of the Skark Wastelands right now, the large lake area (which will eventually have swampy wooden paths on it) and the maze area, and believe me, plenty of people have gotten lost in that thing including me. I still have alot of mobs to place too... I don't think there are any enemies in the Skark area yet...

I am just checking your mapsets and will post glitches here as I find them, just ran into this one:
I can exit Jindoh Village to the wilderness, but not enter it from the wilderness, the map that needs the connection is:
/unofficial/ratix/wilderness1/wild_1210
I will edit this post if/when I find more.
edit:
The stairs at jindoh_gren take you to the wrong spot of jindoh_1.
