I don't know how helpful this is, but here is thesaurus.com's synonyms:

A few things:
1) I'll add my touch to the dress and shirt that the players start off with
2) I have a bunch of sandal artwork, if you'd like to put that in instead of the boot-like sandals (
here
)
3) The royal guard animation has both outlined and non-outlined images in it... we should get that fixed asap.

Yes 'consume' is the standard rpg term for the consumption of solids and refreshments. This stops the extra coding required to determine the correct verb. Although Longir's idea does have a unique Daimonin flair about it.
Are we meant to be testing the player volunteered maps in the jail also?
I'm not sure if they are still 'in-progress' maps ready for fine tuning/bug testing.
I've noticed a few small things like missing .ogg sound files etc.
These maps are really nice by the way.

Yes I guess 'consume' is the way to go. As long as we don't just replace the word 'eating' with 'consuming' -- You start consuming the booze.... You finish consuming -- sounds ridiculous. Just a single You consume the booze -- still sounds a bit unnatural compared to You eat/drink... IMO but maybe that's worth it for the simplification from 2 types to 1.

I found a Beta 4 bug today. Its more of an AI programmed bug than anything else, but it allows for good leveling with little effort.
Mobs like to move to one side to avoid ranged attacks, so as long as you stay 2 or more steps away from a door with them on the otherside, they won't walk through the door, and your FS, or IS can continue to damage them at will, and they will never be able to reach you because they do not know to go through the door (directly in front of you) because that would then expose them to ranged attacks. So they stand near the doorway getting hit, but never get close enough to hit you.
On that same line, if you fire a ranged attack and then take about 5 steps back, wait 9 seconds, then move back up, the enemy will
not
have followed you to kill you, but moved back to its original spot, thus making you able to easily damage the enemy without incuring agro.
Both techniques allow solo-ing mobs that are far in superior to your current level.
Thats it for now, i'll continue to test =)

Opinion on restoration with food:
There should be some limits in consumation cause when i eat 10 food at once i will be healty from 5 hp to 900 hp in two seconds [its not good...] or food should be more expensive ... its unbalanced + reg items isnt good compared to food consumation...

IIRC there's a bug for EVERY mob but only if standing a certain direction - can't remember which.

Havn't been testing the Unoffical mapsets yet (the ones under Jail) as I'm not sure if these are still being worked on heavily...but
While doing tests. the following error was triggered from another player and appeared in the shout box.
if you note the in the action box below the shout box it says
You are now lev 103, etc through to lev 109
I was currently 102 due to drain.. my max is 109
Whenever i kill a mob that gives me experience it displays that message in red every time and makes me lev 109 again. However, when I open the corpse and upon getting an item, it drops down down to lev 102 again.
This same process happens whenever a kill a mob with exp.
I have logged out since and it still happens.
I have only noticed it since the map bug appeared in the shoutbox
On another note I agree with a prevoius post about the AI being a bit predictable or used to your advantage. While doing the Cyclops quest for the spell of Confusion upon finding the Cylops it was behind an open door. It just kept dancing around, so i just stood there and fired my FS at it till it dropped. In another spot with a skelemage in a 3x3 room from memory I stood in the one spot while it danced on the same tile against a wall firing a magic bullett which kept missing me in a diagonal direction. It's FS didn't miss however, although it took a while before it decided to shoot FS so I had plenty of time to recover and watch him dance again.
Finally the thow weap hammer image appears to be bigger than your own body when i throw it.. Well i did when I threw it 'North' direction from memory.
Back to Test Server .. Ill just put up with the Drain bug fornow

the drain effect lasts until you cast restoration or use potion of minor restoration. what you see with the levels returning is the exp being applied to your "true" level, then your next attack returns you to your drained level.

yes, i think it was a tempory bug..which seems to have gone now..but to elaborate ..the drain thing was going straight back to level 102 as soon as a picked up an item (at that very instant) ie after i typed /get X from the corpse.
The next mob i killed .. it went straight back to lev 109.. It would go back to lev 102 until..and only until a /get x item from the mobs corpse was issued again.. thise process just kept repeating from lev 109 to 102 to 109 as i killed a mob or /get x item.. it was strange..but it seems to be gone now. It may have been due to the MapBug that appeared while i was on from the Ratix mapbug.

just reporting a possible bug with group play
I read that while in a group .. everyplayer should be getting the quest item no matter who kills it. While in a group with another player.. The other player killed a mob..( I was standing right behind him) it said that i got the quest item.. but he said that he didnt get it. on antoher occasion he was hitting the mob and i KS'd the kill.. (finished it off) .. it said that i got the quest item .. but again he said he didn't get it. I was happy of course..but something not right here.. unless only one person gets the qeust item and it goes to a random player? .. It was the mugwumps quest

Edit.. I re read what you said Longir..and it sort of makes sense now so ignore my first paragraph..but as Grommit says..its very misleading..confusing
