made announcement to make room for stickies - Longir
Well I went down and had a look at the to-do list, mainly because I wanted to add somthing to it... But of course it didn't let me
So I guess that this is the spot to request images?
I would very much like to see two large fireplaces (2 tiles and 3 tiles for a tavern) in the arches

It would also be nice to see both the old ones and the new ones animated as well. The ones available right now just seem a bit too static, like a poster placed at the base of the wall. :idea:

I've got something for you. An animated-2 tiles wide Fireplace for a Taverne.

OK, a hopefully (I'm just gonna leave the page open and add to it as i go for a while) short list of graphics I would kill for...
But before I go on with my demands I would like to tell all you artists how fantastic you are... BIGUPP!
The 3 different shades of water with sunken edging (I seriously like that effect) (Animated would be beauitiful, but I'm sure thats gotta be on everyones todo list)
A series of three or four fish jumping out of water (or maybe even a fish mob that jumps randomly around water would be awesome)
A double bed, and a four poster bed.
A variation or 2 of the bar (tavern)

..hmm a specific thin i really would kill for would be a waterfall ....i mean a HUGE animated water fall ...one u can walk behind and everything like that but i dont even kno if this is possible.........

Well, i tshould be quite possible, implementing the waterfall as a passable wall using one of the the current archs and changing his image attribute to one that resembles a waterfall
If you need an animated waterfall (wall) though i guess a whole new arch needs to be constructed from scratch...

O.o and maybe items on tables like candles or flowers what are in lil pots or somethin or bills and many things this would go well to a city

That's too easy to make for you too, spyke. Just open GIMP, and open a table from the arches.
Then open flower and copy the flower on the table.. Save as a new table, and Vuala, you got a new table.

Animated floors have been disable (until b5/6 I think) because animations are currently handled server-side and it's a huge drag.

For the same reason the jumping fish would need to be handled as a separate object, but should be perfectly doabl (I suggest making them Misc Objects, not Mobs, that is non-interactible 'background' objects,.
That said, I hear tell that Sammy has created some floating flotsam/jetsam for her watery maps. Presumably jumping fishies could be handled in the same way.

The waterfall idea would be extremely easy. Just make a big waterfall image and make it a misc object in the arch. As a note, all new images should generally have an arch with them, eventually. On that note, artists, don't worry about it. I'm good at those archetypes

I am also trying my hand out in graphics (again)--sammy made me (jk, i decided to after seeing sammys stuff)
Jumping fish should definately be doable, just do what smacky said.
Sammy already made a windmill, but i think she said it was unanimated or something. I could animate it.
There are already 3 shades of water... so if i'm not mistaken, that's already there?
I am making a turtle, rabbit, and a few baubles/trinkets atm. I need more baubles/trinket ideas, if you will
.

Well, that is to say that if I come up against anything that I need improving or making while I'm in my mapping fury I'll not feel so bad about posting 'demands' in here anymore
@Smacky: I mean a simple single tile for the (3/4?) jumping fish
and
a single fish that could act like a water dragon, only when it moves from tile to tile it appears to jump out of the water and then resubmerge... and think about the possibilities if you could make that fish capable of jumping two tiles (over a bridge for instance) and fully turnable so it can jump in all 8 directions... But maybe I'm getting ahead of where we are and heading towards 3d realms

Also I think that the jumping fish shouldn't be constantly jumping or that they should be able to be 'set' to jump at <however> regular you wanted them to... Constantly jumping fish would just make me want to get a rod (of the fishing veriety =P) and some beers and chill out on the bank for the afternoon..
