hi,
a little update for the tracks
some buffer stops
some rocks on the track
i'm still thinking about some cars to put on the tracks and about the more complex tracks like a switch
any input on the cars would be nice
and there is still the question if a railroad can be put into daimonin

I don't think it'd really fit into daim. medieval is to early for railroads. No, i don't think this would be a good idea (but it is only me

Perhaps the technomages have developed a crude form of steam power (the ancient greeks did)?

Looking good!
But if these rails fit into a mine type map, then they need to be rusty and dirty, and the sleepers need to be rotten.
I'm concerned that the shiny new rails you've drawn don't really fit into the game ... can you try my above suggestion (maybe just on a straight section for now) so we can see if they would then "fit" better?

i didn't know that this will turn out to be a ancient times orpg ..., but if this is the case, let the technomagocratesses march in (we need a smilie with a tunic, btw).

That was just my guess as to how railroads
might
be incorporated into Dai.
That said, simply the tracks in mines, etc (ie, what is actually discussed above) would be less controversial. Carts pulled/pushed by goblins, no steam locomotion.

ok ... so i'll age them a little to put them into mines.
but if you put those into mines, would it be that hard for the daimonin inhabitants to think "hey lets try this outside of a mine" ... well maybe with horses pulling the cars or something like that if steampower is not there yet. Maybe they found some magical way to move the cars ... who knows

ok ... i did a little aging test
it might look a little strange, because i only did one variation for each direction ... for real use there will be more, but that's just a test

looks nicely rusty! that's a good adding! If u now get the wood partially darker, this would add another nice touch. For further improvement i'd suggest u look a bit over the new ladders made on Smackies request ... might be, that'd help (especially TPK's, iirc). And cat: I just comment so much 'cause I really like the thingies!!!
@Smacky: I think, ev'ryone knows that the only visible plan in this whole project is that it should be finished within the next two weeks
