The site's back up BTW. Quite slow, but working.

I have a fairly extensive library of sound effects I've been collecting for years, if you have a particular sound and can describe it to me or if you can describe a sound texture you are looking for,  I.E.  war drums, metal clanking, chains, screams, battle cries, I may be able to send you the wav file.

I'm getting a new computer sometime next week so I can run my cakewalk SONAR, after that whatever you want will be possible.  Also we ought to try and recruit Daloc to do some soundscapes, he has a production studio up in Wisconsin.  Mostly he does high energy dance mix, computer generated, synth and hip-hop stuff.  With his talent and gear, there's no limit to what he can do.

Sounds fantastic Gnub (and Daloc Cheesy ).

I ought to let a dev respond first, but the main issue with sfx, I believe, is one of copyright. Obviously that won't be an issue with samples you/Daloc/whoever create and submit yourself, but as to the samples you've been collecting for years, what is their copyright/licensing status? Unless they're 100% freely distributable I don't think Daimonin can use them.

Well, as you might have guessed not too much work has gone into sound engineering in Daimonin. If anyone is interested in looking it over it would be great.

This is a "what do you think is needed" sort of request ;-)

I browsed through the freesound site for a while and found a couple of useful ambient sounds:
http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/samplesViewSingle.php?id=9321
http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/samplesViewSingle.php?id=2521

And something for Mysteria's dog:
http://freesound.iua.upf.edu/samplesViewSingle.php?id=344

No usable heartbeat, though...
