Please help us save our precious mugwumps.  These poor benign creatures are being hunted to near extinction by THE Evil Wizards Guild for their precious shards.  It isn't known why the Evil Wizards Guild covets the shards, but what is known is the devastation its wreaking on the mugwump population.

You can help in this fight by donating a few cents a day, just the cost of a bottle of booze. (hope the dwarves arent listening)

Look at poor little Ralph here.  He lost his mother and was left to die by the heartless Evil Wizard.  We have nursed him back to health only with your help and we thank you!  Your assistance has been invaluable.

And here is Freida.  She was found wandering, starving and all alone in the forest, and was carefully picked up and brought into the Society For the Preservation of Mugwumps, and within a few weeks is now able to make the cute little mugwump sounds that you now hear coming from him.

You can in fact adopt your own little mugwump We will send you a picture each month of the progress of your creature.  No one ages on the Demonic Planes.  We dont know why.  It just is.  So, unless foul play enters into the picture.  Your mugwump will last forever.  Of course, so do you if your lucky enough to live here.  The only downside is the Evil Wizards Guild and that pesky Moroch, but he ignores the adorable Mugwump.

The Society for the Preservation of Mugwumps has two mandates.

1) to protect all mugwumps where we find them and to reintroduce these valuable creatures back to their native demon plane of Daimonic.

2) Death to all wizards for their inhumane treatment of Mugwumps

So in that spirit, you may kill any Wizard you come across, firebomb them in their homes, kill them with arrows and slings and darts. Take up your swords and strike them dead.

Mugwumps existed in the demonic planes for thousands of years.  These poor creatures are of no harm to anyone.  Here you see a family of dead Mugwumps.  This is a terrible crime and deserves retribution.  Please give what you can and help us out in this Our most terrible time of Need!

On behalf of the Society for the Preservation of Mugwumps, I Silan Shalea, Great Adventurer!  Thank you for your kindness

Oh, how thoughtful Frosty ... you've made up a soup, possibly a broth (?), for the express purpose of helping to nurse those poor sick Mugwumps back to full health and fortitude!

hehe Nothing makes me smile more than when a new or previously thought to be extinct species is (re)discovered. Happily this isn't that uncommon.

Quote from: "BBC"
In the programme's blog, Dr Baillie wrote: "Attenborough's echidna is one of five monotremes (egg-laying mammals) that first inhabited the Earth around the time of the dinosaurs.

That would make the species almost as old as Dr Attenborough himself then <g>

I would like to adopt a mugwump please.
I am allowed to pay you in booze right? I don't know if i can spare 8 copper coins a day, after all, daimonin days are much shorter than real life days... Of course insanity days vary in length...

I'll adopt a couple pounds of stew ingredients, I mean mugwumps!,

when you come in, pay no attention to my mugwump-eating pet dragons and the mugwumps in the stew, (Frosty's recipe is so good).

Edit: I was joking about that, I just made a small mugwumps preservation map
