Is there a way i can make a screenshot and send it to this website to be posted in gallery? Or is there some other way?

You hit the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard, then copy it into some program i use "paint", then get a photobucket/imageshack.com account and have them host the image for you, and you will get a [IMG code IMG] code and u can paste it in here and it should load up.  

sorry my directions arent that great...i just figured out how to do it myself lol. So...hopefully someone else can add on to what i said or give u a bit more detail.

Thanks... hmm how to explain...If you look in the gallery you'll find peoples' screenshots (DM's) so i was wondering how do i get my screenshot into gallery :p.

The gallery is semi-screwed ATM. In that it's really difficult to add new galleries, hence all the problems in G&S. Wait for the new site where there's a hugely better gallery thing.

If your screenshots are of images you've made for possible inclusion in the arches, request a sticky from Sub in G&S: http://www.daimonin.net/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=5654

If they're screenshots of maps, just start a normal thread in Map sets.

If they're screenshots of funny things on the main server, start a normal thread in Main server events.

And so on.

Thread move to This website.

OKay, and to put the screenshot on a thread do i press the "IMG" button,Then code, then "IMG" button again to finish?
Also when would my screenshot be put into the gallery?

I don't bother with the buttons, they never work right for me.

Enclose the URL of the image between [ img] and [ /img] (without the space in the middle), and it should work. It's a bit like using HTML, except it's a bit easier.

Than you click the upload(mine is tallozas) that means upload but my windows is hungary so the language is hungary too
Now you select the image to upload,and after you selected you press host it...
and wait for it to host it
and than you copy this link ill show you on this pic

copy that link here and your done

OK I'm having a problem getting images to show up in posts using the [ img] tags. I enclose the full URL (http://picasaweb.google.com/pcfrank73/Daimonin/photo#5174123562954493170) in-between the tags, but nothing happens.

the image doesn't show up because it doesn't have a ".gif" or whatever at the end.

That's a bit of a PITA. At this point, I'd rather use regular HTML tags. Is that an option?



I'm using the URL you provided for that image (or right-clicked and copied the image location), and still nothing shows up. Here's what happened when I clicked the "Image" button around the URL (the blank space above is where this code currently resides in the post):


BTW, I can see why Google's picasa photo web uses the shorter URLs; apparently, the shorter URL will point to wherever on Google's myriad servers the image is stored, and apparently, the image location gets frequently moved around. :p
