Erm, but I don't wanna use those services! Do you know how easy using Google's stuff is on my computer? I save an image to a watched directory and zing, Picasa uploads it to the respective photo album in my web albums! Do either of photobucket or imageshack have this functionality?

It would work but that URL is 403 forbidden. So check the permissions in your gallery (no idea how Picasa works).

As TPK suggests, the URL in img tags must point to a .gif, .jpg (or .jpeg I think), or .png file (ie, it must have the extension).

You should use the link Picasa gives you is a web-page, not an actual image... also It's good that people who want to see the image click the link and those who don't are ok...

I've been using the URL tag instead of the IMG tag. Can we use HTML code in the forums? If so, I can get the image to come up in the post.

Do you understand that with Picasa it looks like you are not able to show the image on other sites?
Also as I said, I don't like big images in posts (screenshots) and I think I am not the only one - use URL tag please...

No HTML won't work in forums. In fact a link to an image is generally best as browsers (FF does, I think IE does too now) cleverly open the image in a new window, appropriately resized and dialup users don't have to dl big images and I don't have to put up with the page jumping all over the place as the screenshots are downloaded, making the actual words impossible to read.

OK. But just FYI Picasa does allow images to be displayed on other sites. But I'll continue doing what I've been doing and posting links to the images.
