well if it has two stories, and all the stairs going up work and they teleport you too the new map, you should be able to just send them seperately

You should zip your maps up into a single file. Then attach the zip file.

Well, if you don't know how to use a zip program ... it's too late at night here to start a tutorial. Just send them the way you know how to. Don't forget Michtoen is very busy right now, so you probably have time to go to camp and come back again...

He is making huge changes to the server/client code. A wall of trees might be good so people don't arrive at an edge that goes nowhere.

quests have to be scripted, and i know youve had no experience in any sort of .lua or stuff like that, so i say you should leave that stuff for later when you actually have a idea of what your doing Smiley

Well, it's your map, for goodness' sake. You make the decisions.

Not a quest, no - that needs a script (but there are some examples if you want to learn). However, there are quite a few things you can do in the map to make it do things - like pedestals that open grates for example, or movers that move the player if he steps on one. You can do a lot with invisible exits, too. The main thing is to use your imagination - no-one can teach you that! Just play around a bit.

Then the best thing to do is get your maps on the test server so people can see them and play them. nFirst step, email Michtoen.
