The glory and the fall of The Followers of Copper.

For some time The Followers of Copper lead happy and uninterrupted life. Since the first day this cult was formed, members started to build small settlement around their temple. Within just several years they managed to start production of great quality items made of copper. Eventually, their craftsmanship reached far corners of the world. They travelled in small caravans, visiting even smallest towns. Cultists were trading there and also trying to share their beliefs as well.

Another way to show the glory of Copper were occasional celebrations in the town Stoneglow. These manifested in covering the streets of this town with many copper coins. Inhabitants didn't have anything against it as they quite enjoyed watching shiny streets.
However, all their efforts didn't bring The Followers of Copper many new members.

In fact, it wasn't an easy task for them as most of people of Daimonin professed the Tabernacle. Tis cult had a major advantage over The Followers of Copper. Their priests were offering services and miracles of healing. So needed at the times of constant wars with forces of Moroch. And all what The Followers of Copper had so far, were copper pots and candelabres.

N'guy Dalam seen clearly that future of his cult was uncertain. He became desperate to present to the world the true power of Copper.

Again, historians failed to do their job well, and all we know is that the following events took place somewhere late in a period of the past times that was given codename B3.

Dalam has invited one day his faithful believers and even managed to convince some of the Tabernacle cult members. They all gathered at old graveyard where master Dalam presented these dangerous grounds to be almost completely covered with copper coins.

Members of The Followers of Copper, knowing history, carefully stepped back, while unaware unbelievers approached in curiosity. Master Dalam stood in the gate of the graveyard and started incantation of the same prayer he used long time ago in the Old Outpost.

Listening to his words it beame clear, even for those that didn't know history of Copper, what he is trying to do.
To turn coins into golems.

As a first accomplishment, he managed to wake up undead Moroch minions with his screams. But a moment later, all the copper coins scattered around began to vibrate gently and some even raised into the air. Dalam continued his incantation, but in the end all he managed to do was that all copper coins turned into formless copper nuggets.

So, there was no golem army this time. Former power of Copper seemed to vanish. Was it that essence of Copper left his believers or rather they lost their faith? We will never know for sure.

One could expect Dalam to lie down and cry, facing both failure and incoming danger from undead forces. But he had fighter's background. So, as a natural response to this situation, he turned his back and 'tactically retreated'. His cult members along with the rest of this gathering also tried to flee.

Unfortunately, many of them were slain. And among those that survived and returned to the Temple of Copper, many lost their faith and left The Followers of Copper.
N'guy Dalam and only a handful of devoted believers continued his cult. However, they locked themselves inside temple and refused any contacts with outside world.

So it happened that the leading faith in the world of Daimonin bacame almost the only faith. Tabernacle followers were known from their peaceful nature and they left The Followers of Copper alone in their misery.

Of course there is always exception that proves the rule. Zejak Nichen, leader of the Alchemists Guild had a personal reason to make sure that The Followers of Copper are wiped off the annals of history. His father was one of many casualties of the Graveyard Massacre. Zejak was aware that tabernacle believers will never approve an open attack on Temple of Copper.

But he figured out how to trick N'guy Dalam and his followers. He wore blue priest robe, which color was always associated with Tabernacle. He also equipped himself with big glass jar filled with a clear mixture of strong acids he took from his guild's laboratories.

Zejak asked his three apprentices to come with him this evening to the Temple of Copper. Just in case things would go out of control.
They went to the temple and were nicely welcomed. Zejak asked master Dalam to gather every of his followers. He said he wants to share some important information.

So far so good, thought Zejak and spoke:
- Look what gift the great Tabernacle has prepared for you. - said Zejak putting glass jar wit acids on the table.
- This is the holy water. It has beed blessed by Tabernacle and we strongly believe in its magical powers. And all I want to do this evening is to present it to you.

With these words, Zejak put one of copper chalices lying around inside the glass jar. Quicklt, and with some bubbles, liquid turned it's color into deep blue.

Ignoring growing whispers, Zejak spoke again:
- This is the true nature of your Copper! It is blue inside, it is filled with the essence of Tabernacle! As everything in this world.

Zejak's trick seemed to work well. Cult of The Followers of Copper has ceased it's existence. Members dissapeared and were never again mentioned by the history.

Master Dalam vanished as well. He was last noticed heading to the Old Outpost, but was never seen again.

As for the Temple of Copper, noone was ever albe to find even it's ruins. Rumour is that a tribe of ogres has ruined it completely, leaving no mark on the land. they eventually sold all the copper that temple was made of to dwarven smiths, in exchange for glass beads.
