Hello, I am very interested in playing on the test server, possibly full time in place of the main server.I would like to use my main server character. I am very attached to her and I really don't want to start all over again. Is it possible to copy her from the main server to the test server? Thank you very much in advance for any assistance with this. The character account would be Myths. Thank you, Myths  |

MT does copy the main server chars to test server from time to time, but I'm not sure when he plans to do it next.

Because it is the "TEST" server. It is for testing new releases before applying to main server.

The main reason for the wipe is that the existing player files won't work with the new software. Since the test server will be updated to the new code before the main server - well, you can work out the rest |

lol.
for real though, I believe the items in the game are being rebased in such a way that the old ones will crash the new server style if they are not removed from the players.
That and we need to implement trade skills with requires a clean economy to begin with.

so... what about donation items? i know this isnt really the proper thread for this topic, but its headed in that direction anyways-- I take it those are being re-vamped as well?
EDIT:
in that those of us who bought donation items are expecting to get them after the characters are wiped-- am I correct in assuming this still stands?

MT has said many times that the donation items purchased from the donation shop will be re given to the original buyers after any wipe.
