at least 25% of the times i try to log in i get the following message (before login page, when it checks for updates to the client i think):
"curl error", and then it says press enter...i press enter and it shuts down, what causes this? (not a big problem, but I thought maybe you guys should know about it?)

curl error, i remember another player asking about this... Firewall settings, dll thingy, but daim provides this

for linux clients you need to install curl3-dev package.
for windoze clients iirc the curl.dll is included but your download may have been corrupted.

Is that all it says related to CUrl?

But basically it means something in the download-process got wrong,
maybe it is a firewall preventing the updater to access the internet (remember: the updater programm is a different one (daimonin_start.exe), so it need its own rule in the firewall)
maybe simply the webpage was down, or had a little too much load, so the request timed out.

should i download the client again?

If that is true Zrub, then there is nothing for you to do.  Just wait 1 minute and try to start again.  If you can start OK then you know it is not a problem with you, but a Network issue.

I get curl errors maybe 1 time in a hundred ...
