Hi! It would be nice to have a little info about making 3D graphics/models: links to progs (blender?) tutorials and technic to master to help (animation? Texturing?) and related tutorials.

Wiki/developpers area/ TO DOs

I just come back from the wiki: i hesitated to add "TO DOs" for each sector (map making/ objects/ graphics /code). As i had no right to insert content in it (im not the one who decide what is TO DO) i ask here if it would be a good idea to help, by this way, people wanting to contribute knowing what is currently TO DO in each sector...

You can simply ask here if you want edit access to the Wiki.

I have access to the wiki. But i dont want to insert new topics anarchically: i cannot make the pages for TO DO and 3D so i wont add anything like this if ppl who can do that don't want to do it.

Well, you can certainly make the pages. You are also very welcome to suggest TODO items, and I feel that all together we can come up with a long list of tasks of any size (with everything from "blue flower arch" to "3D client").

A TODO list (or one per section) is a great idea and it lets people who are interested in contributing see where they can help.

Its a page where we will try to construct fast growing Wiki tree for easier navigation.

Well, since we seem to be on this topic anyway:
When adding new pages, try to use at least a couple of words as the name of the new page.
Since all pages share the same namespace we will soon have collisions if we keep using single words...

Oops... srry i didnt know. btw can you explain me how to change a page name? I tried to do it by changing the title but it didnt work (the title asked for a new page :-( )

Just copy the text into a new page with the correct name. The old page will still be there, but it just won't have any links to it. I will soon go to the wiki to see what you all have been up to...

I started writing in the Wiki, i enjoyed it very much (really nice way to edit web content). But as I am very new at this, there is perhaps some mistake or perhaps I take too much place, write bad quality stuff. Im really open to remarks, so dont hesitate... pm me if I mess this Wiki.

Generally your pages will be rolled over by all of the editior at some point or another (most likely by me first). Spelling errors or points that just don't do the job will be fixed . The wiki is *really* looking nice. I am just finishing putting in all of my manuals and will be going over the last check in a bit, then i get to go through and add pictures! YAY! (oh good, just when i thought i was done )

Just finished writing 3D models/ Graphics. Il also start to write the Animation wiki and probably more,
let me know if something is unclear or you want to have some more info about modeling/ animation.
